The home promotes the independence, inclusion and wellbeing of people with care and support needs from the age 18 upwards. We do this by working with the people we support, their families and community teams to deliver a high-quality home that meets individual needs and aspirations in a person-centred way.
Willow Lodge can provide an alternative to hospital admission, freeing scarce beds for those for whom admission is the only option. The home can support people who may be struggling to cope in the community, unable to live in supported living or need a specialist residential placement to be safe and supported.
The service aims to provide people with a residential environment where they can be supported to increase their independence skills and prepare for a community placement. The staff team use the “Well-being Star” process to support people to increase skills in all areas of their day to day life and prepare them for independent living.
Willow Lodge and Berkeley Village are committed to a person-centred philosophy of care.
